Annual holiday meeting and election of officers for 2021.

In deference to COVID, we will not be able to enjoy our holiday potluck dinner, but we will meet via Zoom for our second attempt (apologies for the October Zoom glitch!) to welcome Lt. Julie Zogg, Sgt JK Roque, and Officer Lucia Viera from Houston Police Department, Central, DRT to speak with us about neighborhood safety.

Also, we will be sending another email later this week with comments developed by members of the board for TxDOT about the North Houston Highway Improvement Project (NHHIP) that reflect concerns for how it will impact Brooke Smith/Montie Beach. The deadline for comments is Wednesday, December 9. We encourage you to go to https://www.letstalkhouston.org/nhhip to review what TxDOT is proposing, how it does or does not reflect community input, and to compose your own comments for submission, or you may cut and paste or adapt the board's comments coming shortly.
